Wonderful story! I loved how vivid the descriptions of the water and reef were. I love reading how Sheppard, begrudingly, realizes that he does need some time away from everything once in awhile. Wish I was there right now (mostly for the dripping wet Sheppard:)).

Thanks! Yes, a dripping wet Sheppard is most appealing ;). Sheppard going for a swim came to mind long before the plot, actually :D

Sweet. Very nice. I just love imagining John in the ocean. We never did get a Sheppard beach moment on SGA. This story brings to mind another of my favorites...Wave Rider. That one brought tears to my eyes. This one just brings contentment. - Diane, IN

Thank you, tiwce :D I love John and the ocean - surfing, swimming. It's his second element after sky, I think.

Aww, this is fab, dear. I like the descriptions, the heady freedom, John finally getting a chance to uncork a little from the pressure cooker of his own guilt and worries.

*claps* I like!

Thank you. I felt John was due for a small breakdown, but wanted it all to end with him finding a little peace of mind ;)

That was beautiful. So many nice moments in the story. The moment with Rodney typing in front of Carson's stasis chamber was really precious - sweet and sad at the same time.
