The bungling robot, who can convince us of anything
I am not usually one to get really steamed about Bush and the bullshit that has come from his administration. I but the recent events in New Orleans have pissed me the fuck off. Where the hell is President Bush, what is he doing why has it taken 4 days for any kind of relief effort to get to the people down there.

Sunday - Vacation (Hurricane reaches Catagory 4) forcasters predict New Orleans and gulf coast in big trouble
Monday - Vacation (Hurrican Hits) Hell on earth for gulf coast
Tuesday - Bush Flies back to washington, on the way back he spends 35 minutes in the air over the gulf coast Quoted to say "It looks like a distaster down there"
Wendsday - People start getting distressed no help is coming. (Minimal national guard help comes) No food no water no supplies
Thursday - People start dying and distress increases, evacuation attempted sniper fire halts evacuation, superdome full of people, streets full of people, New Orleans Declared an urban war zone.
Friday - President Bush Visits the coast to see for himself the distruction, and try and deflect the critisism that has come his way in person.
Now the above mini-timeline should give you an idea of how retarded the last few days have been for the people on the golf coast. All the while the feds have seemed held in place by, I don't know what. Maybe bush locked himself in the closet for two days repeating the mantra "This isn't real when I come out it will be gone." On top of the fact that he has yet to do jack shit, remeber 9/11 when he kept reading to the 1st graders, he has seemed to do the only thing that he is good at the thing that won him 2 fucking presidencies. That's Deflect the blame laying it on other, "Golly boss it ain't mah fault." Smiling that have Special Needs smile, talking his good old boy talk.
If man had constructed a robot to be a bad president yet convince the people that he was a good all around guy. Convince the world it's better to leave the country with a nice down home boy who is a little bungling, than a liberal snob from some new england state who could at least do the fucking job. If we had constructed that robot, we could not have done a better job than the lord almighty did with this shumck.
Lastly people have know this shit was going to happen to new orleans for a long time. A National Geographic on the destruction of the Mangrove forests on the golf coast, has a picture with a man holding a 12 foot tall red poll on burbon street. The caption says, "If a hurricane or tidal wave were to hit New Orleans it could leave burbon street in up to 12 feet of water. Lake Ponch, For years they have known the leviees were in suficent to hold in all the water if a storm of wave hit.
All that stuff is irrelivant really to my point which is not "Why didn't Bush prepare for this" that's because he needed money for his war. The point is they knew the Hurricane was coming they knew it was bad, why is it finally now 4 days after the disaster 8 days after thier first warnings that they have just now organized this relief effort?
If you made it this far congrats this is my final though, maybe it was Al-queda that sent the hurricane? or maybe it hates us for our freedom? Regarless of why it struck us in anger, how safe do you feel knowing that all this homeland security and planning couldn't even give us the ability to avert the chaos that has come of the gulf coast. What would happen if something worse hit us?
