The only way this weekend could have been better would be if it didn't end with a fair amount of homework. Stephen came to visit, which was really great. The weather was perfect, and I only have three more weeks of school before finals. That does, however, mean I have three weeks for profs to attempt to cram as much material into my brain as possible, and three exams to take before finals, and three weeks of great weather that I will be in classes for. Oh well. I have a feeling this month is going to fly by- I'm going home the next two weekends, and then I only have one more weekend here before I am gone for good. Then there will be no more dorms ever. While I am extremely happy about that and I cannot wait for our apartment, I will miss being around so many people. That and having most of my meals, as shitty as they may be, prepared for me already. Anyway, back to this weekend. Friday I cleaned a lot, which put me in a good mood. Stephen got here around 7 and we all hung out and watched some TBS movies and whatnot. I was also forced into watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I did not enjoy that at all. Saturday Stephen and I fed the ducks and attempted to feed the squirrels, but for some reason they weren't out. Very weird. We also had to rescue Megan and Laura from a flat tire incident, and then went out to the Olive Garden for dinner. Later that night we watched Hotel Rowanda. It was really good but very sad and intense the whole time. My stomach was definitely upset after watching that. This afternoon, after Stephen left, I spent a lot of time outside studying (because apparently I lied and had a lot more work to do than I let on,) and have a burnt shoulder and half a burnt back to show for it. I just got back from being outside again, and I'm really tired. I think all this fresh air and lack of sleep is finally sinking in. I have a lot of work to get done before I go to bed, though, but hopefully I can call it quits before 10:30 and crash in my bed. Time to get started. Later kids.
