At Least the Bears Won
Long time no update for me I suppose. I don't really remember where I left off, so I'll just cover a few mention-worthy events. Friday night Lo and I got cute and then got smashed which was good fun up until the end. I think that should just be our motto for going out in EL: "Good fun up until the end." Needless to say, I was not a very happy camper when I woke up Saturday. I recovered quickly enough, though, and then headed off to the ND game. It was a terrible game, but still a lot of fun, my voice was definitely over used. I love sitting next to Jenna at games because she's even more crazy about football than I am, and she keeps the weirdos away from me (namely really wasted, crazy boy and the fatty police officer.) I was really bummed about the game, but ND is my second favorite team, so it wasn't that bad, AND the Bears killed Green Bay Sunday, so all was not lost. Our next home game is kinda far off...it's the Illini game on Oct. 9th, and I'll probably miss it due to Pirate Party. Speaking of, I got a nice little voice mail from one Michael K. today concerning that IU shindig. I guess I was hoping that the guys were my friend cuz I'm fun, but apparently it's just for my girl friends. I should have known. Haha, it definitely made my scary bike ride home from class more enjoyable, though. Yeah, apparently they don't feel the need to turn any street lights on between Bogue Street and the entire MASP complex. It was dark, and I was scared. However, my fears were swept away as soon as I walked in to Megan watching Seventh Heven. I needed a good laugh before work. Anyway, getting back on track here...Sunday I did a lot of nothing. I attempted to go to the Tower for the 2nd time, only to find out I can only go tomorrow. Upsetting. Then I did homework for the rest of the evening. By homework I mean talking to Stephen while keeping my econ book open and close by. I did eventually finish everything up, attend a meeting, turn in my Capa, and go to bed around 12. I was aiming for earlier, but considering I didn't fall alseep until past 1:30, I guess it really didn't matter. Today I did my usual routine of class, lunch, class, break, dinner, class, work which brings me to right now. Basically I've been up since 7:40 and besides an hour of mindless TV, I've been doing things and expanding my brain. I'm drained. I'm going home Thursday so I am excited, except then I wont be able to go home till Thanksgiving, and that's a long time to be away from the boy. Oh well, what can ya do? Little Megan also pointed out that this weekend marks the 1/4 of the way done with the semester point, or 1/8 of the way done with the year if you want to be optimistic. That makes things much more doable in my book. Alright, I need to start thinking about closing down the shop here and draggin my ass home to bed. Night.
