So here it is Thursday already and I'm not too sure where the time went. Let's see...well, last Friday Stephen and I had a quasi-date which involved getting some Chinese takeout and watching a movie. The movie I picked was Laws of Attraction, not usually my genre of choice, but it had good ole Pierce in it, whom both Stephen and I have a crush on. Saturday I went to my bro's soccer game in Palatine. It was hot and early in the morning and I had to drive through Chicago both there and back because my father was "too tired from sailing." Sunday I had to drive him up to St. Joe so he could sail some more, so moral of that story is my dad is a passanger seat whore when it comes to long/early morning drives. Sunday was again spent with Stephen, and getting kicked off the beach just as I was about to finally go swimming (yes, I am still bitter about that one.) Monday was just a big blur considering I had a lot of packing to do and my father wanted to leave early to get back up to EL (again, guess who drove.) I worked Monday night, tues-today I did the class thing a bit. Apparently I am gonna be logging a lot of hours in the psych department, which I was happy about up until now when I realized it is just gonna be a lot of nonrewarding work. But hey, it keeps me from sitting on my ass in front of a computer surfing the net like I do at this job. I'm a bit behind on my classes, but I figure that I have all this weekend to play catch up considering I'm working a whole lot. Tues and Wed evenings, Lo and I went shopping (Tuesday Agatha came too) so I bought a few things I probably could have gone without, but since I hardly ever spend money on things I want I caved. I did not, however, buy the Gap pjs I so very much want. Lo and I pined over them yesterday for a few minutes while we were in the store. They're all silk and blue (cept the cami which is multi colored), and when they go on sale, we shall own them. Right now it's just a bit hard to justify spending over $100 on sleep attire. Maybe I'll ask for them for my birthday, although my mom prolly wont go for it either. OK, enough about the pajamas. Last night was crazy good times. Megan and Lo felt the need to reinact the creatures in the Villiage by putting on fleece blankets as capes and running down the hall screaming a few hundred times. Then we had a bit of a song and dance party in my room that included such hits as "Keg in the Closet," "Be with You," and "Love is a Battlefield" (which actually started the whole thing...if you've seen 13 Going on 30, you'd understand) complete with hairbrush, blow dryer, and water bottle microphones. We called it quits after a freshman kid came in and asked us what the hell we were doing. After that, I read Lo my poop book that Annie got me a few years back for my bday, and then I wrote Stephen a little story complete with very artistic pictures in an attempt to cheer him up. I think he now just realizes what a crazy girlfriend he went and got himself, but in my defense, it was 1am and I was really hyper- not a good combo. Today I did a whole lot of nothing besides bask in the glory that goes along with being done for the school week at 11:40am. I was in such a good mood today, though, and I called Stephen around 7:30 which wasnt such a good idea because it just made me more hyper than I already was, and then I had to go to work. So now I am here, still hyper, which has been causing me to make funny faces at the computer. Apparently I have this talent for doing something stupid like making weird faces just as residents walk by the desk, it's horrible. Anyway, I suppose in about 10 minutes all the sugar is going to leave my body and I will just pass out here at the desk. We'll see if I can keep it going for another 2 hours and 10 minutes. OK, time to go read a book for fun. Later kids.
