...though this time it's a bit less of a routine protestation. (Appendicitis, three and a half weeks ago -- apparently the inflammation had begun to spread to the cecum, plus the appendix itself was situated somewhat trickily, and they dropped it as they were removing it...whereupon it burst. But the surgeon said they'd managed to avoid getting any pus in my abdominal cavity.)
Other than that: still married. Still at my "new" job (been there for over a year and a half now, does it really count as "new"?). Did a canal boat tour in England last summer, highly recommended. Still with four cats, though one had to be euthanised due to kidney failure, and another one moved in. (Plus we had one rescuee in our kitchen for three and a half months, Comrade Chairwoman Meow -- she's little and red -- who was rehoused this monday.) Has brewed two batches of beer with
luminalflux, both of which produced quite acceptable results. There will probably be more. Now with one less house in France.
