silverblue,
lederhosen: if you wanna meet up, send me an SMS (hotel internet is hilariously expensive) at the "private" phone no in
the infopost, yes? We'll be out and about most of the day (for values of "day" that maps to "Tuesday to Saturday" and "after 10:00 or so") and are heading on to Sydney on Sunday afternoon.
Also, it's pretty nice here.
I'm not sure when clubs are open, trying to find out - in all honesty, it's been a couple of years since I went anywhere but the Public Holiday events, and those aren't coinciding :) Maybe we should all meet up on Friday night or something :)

One is Friday night dinner, the other is:

Which is a steampunk event on friday/saturday (tickets, $25).
I'll give Lederhosen and you both a call tonight, we'll DEFINITELY do one of those two if folks are up for it :) If it's the friday night dinner, I'll suggest we go to Roule Gallette, and then possibly the art gallery if you feel like something like that.
I apologise about being slow to get back to you, I'm rather tired at the moment.

Also, our hotel's apparently JUST BEHIND your workplace (we're staying in the Docklands Travelodge)...

I think dinner and art gallery is the easiest for me atm as I'm not in the best of health. So! I'll call Geoffrey tonight and arrange things :)

Current plan is this, if you guys are up for it...
We meet at my work place at roughly 5:00pm - there is a cafe there, so there is somewhere to sit down. Gillian (Geoffrey/Lederhosen's wife) will join us :) then we'll head by tram to the Arts Center and go to the Gallery there, where my partner (Keith) will meet us. When Geoffrey gets in from Canberra, he'll head to the Art Gallery, and then all of us will go to Roule Gallette, where on a Friday night there is french Jazz and crepes :)
Is that okay?
My mobile is:

(And my real name is Ceredwyn :)
