Just a story :)
I saw Chantal in concert when she was pregnant last October. First of all she was the most charming person I've ever met. And what a MUSICIAN! It was just her and her piano. I was blown away... honestly you think of the other female artists out there and they are more "entertainers" than anything. She sat at the piano and just played and sang. I was enchanted. She was so beautiful.
Believe it or not -- she forgot the words to Before You! She was trying to sing it to her baby, but couldn't get through it cuz she kept giggling - the baby kept kicking her! It was the cutest thing Ever!!!! She had to start over after the first verse cuz she messed up. She laughed and said that had Never happened to her before. She blamed all the hormones. When she started up again, she still kept laughing but tried to fight through it. When she got to the part "Before you there was just a black hole" she totally lost it. She almost fell off the bench! She said it sounded so deep and metaphorical, like she was talking about her empty womb. It was so adorable!!
Anyhoo, that's my fun story. I just joined this group.
