Yay! I have the 22nd of Dec 08 to 2nd Jan 09 off from work. Woohoo. (8 days paid holiday til New Years Eve). Getting paid for Christmas Day and Boxing Day (well do have to use up this years holiday). New Years Day and 2nd Jan 09 unpaid.

Wonder if I will see anyone during this period (Facebook friends?) or not?

Work finished yesterday for about 11 days holiday (techically only three days are booked off - 27th, 28th and 31st Dec). Two weekends, then four days off anyway (Xmas Eve, XmasDay, Boxing Day, NYears Day).

TV wise, I have Doctor Who: Voyage of the Damned to watch (like everyone else), two Simpsons Christmas episodes I've never seen before (on ( Read more... )

While most of the inputters (permanent) are already on holiday since today or yesterday, there wont be many inputters at work tomorrow (wasn't many of us in today either).

Got a full day 'til 5pm tomorrow, then I wont be back 'til the 2nd of January.

It is also another "dress down" day i.e. casual clothes.

No Internet for a week (apart from occationally checking my e-mails on my mobile - I was so bored that I downloaded two real tones - true tones to my mobile - You Could Be Mine - Guns N Roses and The Terminator).

Hey all.

Am back from family holiday in Yorkshire / Lancashire (our self-catering cottage was on the border). Tended to mostly head east towards Bradford / Leeds (didn't go to Leeds but was near it).

Hmm ... I'd never of guessed when I went with my parents and brother to Rome last month that Italy would win this years World Cup. Just on penalties beating France 5 -3 (1-1 in normal and extra time). Filled in the Rapid Reclaim form this morning. Called for an appointment. Went in for 1.30pm. I'm now back on the JSA. I showed my passport as ID. Next time I go to the Job Centre I will give them my P45's back (the one from going off for Options and the one for going off for the Rome holiday).
