Woo hoo, finally saw Jonathon "First Contact" Frakes Thunderbirds The Movie. It was good. Mostly a plot of The Hood wanting to rob the Bank of England using the Thunderbird crafts, he used the Mole.
I reckon they set it in 2010 not 2065-68 for what ever reason. (update: it said 2020 on the Fanderson website). This time Bill Paxton was not a coward like in Aliens - "Game over man, game over". It was mainly Alan, Fermat and Tin Tin doing the rescuing at the end.
The main titles looked nice. An animated sequence. With an authentic version of Barry Gray's theme as arranged (possibly) by Hans "Gladiator" Zimmer.
Trailers: New Riddick and Catwoman trailers which looked cool. Is Riddick aiming for a PG or a 15? One shit trailer for Dodgeball. This guy gets hit loads with dodgeballs.
I'm getting bored of seeing the same "Scenic Days Out" thing for that Alwick Castle. Thats three times now at the old UCI. They have the same old seats from the '80s too. The only decorating they did at the UCI was new carpets and wall panels in the UCI's corridor. The area around it in Solihull has changed lots since I started going there in the late 80's. As in Industrial and residential buildings rising up.
