Terminator Salvation
I finally saw Terminator 4, um T4 ok its actually called Terminator Salvation. The End Begins is its tag line not subtitle.
Wow this movie was good.
Marcus was executed in 2003 (by lethal injection), but before he was he signed his body over to Cyberdyne Systems (apparently they still exist at this point). They use his body to put a Terminator endo inside of him, making him the first infiltrator unit. He wakes up in 2018.
At this point in the timeline Skynet is starting up the T800 program (the T600's are the main Terminators at this point). We later see the first Terminator to look like the 1984 Arnold (naked). I saw a toy called the T.R.I.P. That is the Arnold T800 and I believe it stands for "Terminator Resistance Infiltrator Prototype".
John listen's to Sarah Connor's tapes and looks at her picture from the end of T1.
John plays Guns N Roses - You Could Be Mine to trap / steal a Mototerminator.
They use the Terminator theme "dum dum dum dur dum" from T2.
John trys to melt and freeze a T600 like in T2 (using molten metal and nitrogen). But the T600 melts and frees its self.
Skynet trys to kills Kyle Reese and John Connor by changing history. The Resistance were going to blow up Skynet, even while Kyle and John were inside - that would mean Skynet wins.
Instead John finds hydrogen fuel cells, and uses that to blow up the facility when all the captured humans are freed. They actually see a T800 production line (kinda like in the T2 teaser trailer).
"In Loving Memory of Stan Winston" credit starts the end credits.
