Clerks II, Art of X2 / X3, Hulk CD, travel chaos ...

Got the train to Birmingham and met up with crazy_craig. While I was in Forbidden Planet I got The Art of X2: Collector's Edition (Hardback) and The Art of X-Men: The Last Stand. I then found The Hulk soundtrack for £8 in HMV and got that (Set Me Free kicks ass btw).

Day weather wise started off fine, then it started to rain lightly, then later heavily.

Saw 2:15pm showing of the amazing Clerks II.

First of all whenever I recently searched bbfc.co.uk for the Clerks II rating I couldn't find it. Thats cus they have it as Clerks. II (In the movie the title says "Clerks." - then the dot disappears and now says "Clerks II".

The Quick Stop burns down. One year later Dante and Randal are working at a fast food place called Moobys.

There boss is Becky. It is Dante's last day cus he is engaged to Emma and Will "move to Florida". A few weeks earlier Dante slept with Becky on the counter, and she tells him she pregnant.

Jay and Silent Bob are cool as usual. Film refs to the LOTR Trilogy, both Star Wars Trilogy's, next years Transformers flick, even X2 (when they are in a prison cell refering to Magneto's plastic prison cell).

Later they use money from Jay and Silent Bob to buy the Quick Stop and video shop (they repair it). The video shop has "VHS and Nintendo" written on the side of it. Inside is mostly VHS tapes, and some DVDs but not many.

Ben Affleck's cameo was really really short (had one line - he almost had none). Jason Lee had a long one.

The film also had a wierd Interspecies Erotica with this bald mand with a beard and a donkey.

Rosario Dawson was great as always (kinda like her MIIB appearance, less like Sin City).

After the film headed back to Snow Hill, but a flood at Rowley Regis ( last time in July it was a signal fault) caused lots of cancellations of trains and delays, so I got a no 6 bus home using my return rail ticket (voice over annoncer at Snow Hill said rail tickets were valid on the Midland metro and TWM buses).

The X2 and X3 Art Of books are amazing. X2 has some kind of 8 page Nightcrawler posters in the middle, but I cant really see the inner pages (pages all appear to be sealed in and I'm not cutting the pages open). It also has a final 16 pages of The Art Of X1 (prob cus The Art Of X-Men 1 isn't available anywhere - so thats a bonus in the Collector's Ed).

The Hulk CD is great - yay I finally own it.
