Kira's first crush
Kira just adores an older girl named Olivia. Olivia will be four in the next few days, but the age difference doesn't matter to Kira. Or maybe it does. Maybe that's what makes Olivia so alluring. Or maybe its that "opposites attract" maxim since Olivia is definitely a high energy child.
Earlier in the week, we talked vaguely to Olivia and her mom about getting together. Shortly after that, Kira kept asking me to call Olivia's mom so Olivia could come visit. She kept asking when Olivia would get there, even though I kept explaining that we hadn't set up a time yet. Now we have a time set up for next week to meet with them, but Kira is having a hard time waiting. If the doorbell rings, she yells that Olivia is here! She tells me all about the things she will show or do with Olivia. I hope our meeting happens otherwise we will have one disappointed girl. Good thing they will probably see each other at church on Sunday! You know, to break up the wait.
