Black people are awesome
Tuesday I went to the coffee place after dinner and read physics for over 2 hours. Yesterday I went and sat there for over 3 hours and finished the book. I have discovered it is the only place I can study. I have five days left and I think I'm gonna start doing some questions and exercises, and re-read my notes, read the part on electromotive force again (it's so easy, why can't I understand it??). Or maybe relax for a bit since I've spent all my free time reading this week. Maybe go to the mall and buy the shoes for my wedding. I also have a chocolate craving but no chocolate in the house:(
Work had a visitor from a company in Delaware that we buy aluminum from. I had a chat with him in the lunch room today. His name was Earnest, he was African American and the coolest dude I have ever talked to! I had my Seattle Rain Festival t-shirt on, he noticed it and we started talking about America. He thought our position titles were funny (me: potato, Robert: stockroom engineer) and we agreed to sign more contracts when I one day became president of Scancell, hehe. My English was great, it goes up and down depending on who I talk to. I have of course totally lost my northwest accent again, but I didn't sound like a dweeb.
