work and school and stupid incomplete diplomas
Work called today. They want me there for the rest of the week, and maybe some days next week. Wheee
I went up to the school and signed up for a math and a physics exam this spring. I got my grades on the two I had before christmas.... I failed Nynorsk (what a shock...:p) and I got a 3 on the math exam. That wasn't as well as I hoped it would be, but I don't do well on tests, so that's ok. I still have my Nynorsk grade from last time.
The lady had a problem printing out my new complete diploma with the newest grades on. I have 1M math (lets call it 9th grade math) but not 1X(completes the required math, lets call it 10th grade math). I also havce 2MX (pre-calc) and 3MX (AP calc), and in theory that overwrites the 1MX. Except that the computer does not understand this since I have both vocational and college prep high school. I have bloody 152 hours of study, and regular students have 100 hours over the three years. And this little 1X is gonna screw everything up?
The local high school has never dealt with people doing it this way before, at my previous school they have students like this every year, and they get all the requirements for studying at the International Space University in Strasbourg. Grrrrr paperwork suuucks.....
Off to make dinner. Then more cleaning out mom's apartment. Then home and bake brownies before Dominique and I have a Buffy Brownies Night. Season 4 and Spike:D
