Blue Muntables
MEH! I had a big philosophical speil I was gonna do on this today. Was thinkin about it last night in bed (Couch!) and I thought ahh, that'd be worth a prod, but I totally forgot what it was!
Meh! Well I was gonna head back up to town tonight and Catch Syth in Ivory Blacks, but....er I was coughin' up blood this morning when I got up so methinks I better go to the man with the bag of bones and see about it! Probably just the tail end of this cold, cos I havn't been smoking that much and everything else is fine, I'm eating right an everything. Havn't been getting enough fresh air an excercise though so that might be it.
I really wanna get back up the flat. I've just had such a big burst of inspiration and I can't seem to keep the riffs back. I started another TWO songs yesterday and I wanna get back on Cubase before this writing 'Zone' ends for another million years. Nah I don't think it'll happen for a while, I've been playing a lot of old Amiga games recently and the music for some of them is stunning cos the Amiga always had a great sound module, so I've probably picked up on those type of chord structures and melodies. Just wanna get stuck back in. Aside from a film yesterday I spend th WHOLE day on Cubase working on songs. I just havn't done this in years and it feels great.
Aye finally got Red Sonja downloaded. Hehe, oh dear, the film itself is pretty mince, the story is as shallow as a dribble of pish and the acting seems to have an extra 21st chromosome, but WHO CARES, IT WAS BRAW!!!!!!!!! I didn't remmeber much of it but it looks great, some of the photography in it is stunning, even I was surprised how good it looked. Some of the scenes are better looking than in lord of the rings, and this was made in 1985? Still sucks that arnie didn't play Conan in this, cos Sonja was meant tae be his kinna love interest. But anyway who cares, he's still in it and it's got swords, and talismans, and wizards, and annoying ninja brats and underwater mechanical dragons. Magic!
God I'm so bored, I really just want to get back up the flat and work on those songs! Meh!
Good news is my dad is feeling better. How you can feel better from a terminal illness is a mystery,but my mum says he's a lot sharper than usual and his walking has gotten much better and yesterday he even asked to go out to braehead to the bookshop which he hasn't done in months. So out came the wheelchair and off they went. the nurse says his high blood pressure has dissapreared completely and his dry skin fron the radiotherapy is healing up rapidly.
So, been of a good couple of days all round for everyone. Bad thing is looks like I won't get to go to Dragonforce. We got the arrers account in from CKD yesterday. Ali owes £950 and I owe £200, so I need to get that sorted out so unfortunatly it's tata to the gig, the new guitar and probably the next few weekends as well. Meh!
But hey-ho, I actually thought it was two months rent I missed so at least it's only the one, but nothing will take the wind from my sails this week! I'm just feeling really accomplished and happy! Just need to shed this damn half a stone an I'll be even happier!
