Lunch
Went into town with a friend to the Resources Roadshow today. Lunch was surprisingly good, as finger food goes: spring rolls, sandwiches, wraps, little pies, carrot cake, chocolate cake, other cakes, wine, etc. The speakers had passion for their companies, but it will be interesting to see if any of them will be big successes. There was a stock broker in a corner who asked pointed questions at the end of each presentation ... and he looked and sounded like Henry Davenport from Drop the Dead Donkey! (one of my favourite ever sitcoms) In stereotypical fashion, there were 6 women in the whole audience of more than 100.
