I've always been more Betty Crocker than Martha Stewart
but since we got the house I keep thinking that I do want matching/themed rooms
Among other improvements we got the well & water filter fixed up, heating ducts (the keepers) cleaned and grills replaced, shelves lined, everything cleaned, all appliances in, and random fixes here and there. Need to hang curtains in the guest room, patch holes, put in new ducting (where needed), get bookshelves to set up the library, finish organizing clothes/closet, etc etc for ever
Seriously, there is always something to do. It's a bit overwhleming at times. But I want to get as many indoor improvements in place as possible so I can start rocking the yard when Spring comes.
I can't believe it's almost November, er December. Holy crap time flies!
Eric, Gary and I have been harvesting more porcinis this year than any other in our 10+ years of hunting history! Last night was porcini bruschetta, tonight is porcini stuffing and roast chicken. I have been eating so well, it's incredible...
