I feel accomplished...
Let's see, just wanted to make a brief update today.
Where to start...
I called my new future roommate. His name is Andrew. He's 25 years old, and he's a hairstylist. He seemed pretty cool on the phone. He asked me a few questions to get to know me and set some ground rules. Basically, Keep the shared living space clean and try to only have friends over on saturday nights, basically. We might get together later tonight if I'm around. He's already seeming cooler than my current roommate... Blech.
After I finished speaking to my roommate, I got a phonecall from some Austin number. I answered, and it was Marble Slab setting up an interview. I told them I'd be there around 3 P.M.
After that, I went to my apartment's leasing office to talk to Heather, the lady that deals with Transferring people and I signed my lease for my "new" apartment. So, as of August 6thish, I should be moving into apartment 834C. It's a 4 bedroom, 2 bath. It'll be three guys and a girl. Should be interesting.
After I finished that, I payed off the $82.13 or whatever it was I owed to my apartment. I also payed my gas bill of approx. $18. Currently, my rent is $435, but once I move, my rent will be a whopping $325, W00000000t!!! More money for me! Lolz.
Sooo... After this, I stayed home til about 1:18pm, when I left to ride the bus... Eesh, the bus ride itself was an adventure, but I'm lazy so maybe some other time.
I get to Marble slab prompt... like an hour early, lol, so I talk with the person, and eventually she asks when I could start training. So, after some thought, I said tomorrow. She asked me to show up at Noon, so no more sleeping in for me... damn. Oh well, I have a job now!
After that, I ate at freebirds, called my mom, Dan, and Cassie, and basically just relaxed. My parents are now looking for a vehical for me. Then, I went to Old Navy and bought a pair of Khakis. Then I rode the bus home, and that was the other half of the adventure. If you want more details, you'll have to ask me in person, cuz I'm lazy. Fo Srsly. Lol, I'm picking up on Jokr/Aleta Lingo... Anyways, Now I'm home and yeah. I dunno, stuff...
