Back in Victoria, Day 3

Jun 20, 2006 03:20

Hey everyone.

I've been back in Victoria since Sunday evening. If you didn't know, I dragged my friend Sean with me so he could see that which is Hell. He's finding out how entertaining my dad is, lol. If you've ever met my dad, you'll know what I'm talking about... ><

All I've really been doing is hanging out with a bunch of friends. It's a nice break from responsibility, but as soon as I get back to Austin, I need to buckle down and take care of business, such as applying for jobs and finding an apartment. I might try applying at Denny's where my friend Mato and Michael work. Maybe I'll get lucky though and Roxor will make me a Tech apprentice or some BS like that, lol... Talk about wishful thinking.

Been talking a lot with my new friend Aleta, aka Jokr. She's awesome. She says she'll visit Austin again some time in the hopefully near future. I look forward to that. I need someone to keep me trying to progress on ITG.

Lately, this past weekend, I've been stressed out a lot. The funny thing was, none of it had to do with myself. It was mainly due to other people's stress and mood that I turned into the thing I did. I hate being like that, because if I'm in a bad mood, I drag people down with me, but this is also true for everyone else. If you're in a bad or unhappy mood, you will drag everyone down with you. So, I'm sorry if I've snapped at anyone, my temper has been shorter than usual.

I bought some new shoes today. I tried playing DDR in them. It was somewhat awkward but I could still play, so I just have to get used to it. I managed to get 10 greats on Max 300 and I got One More Extra Stage. I'm sorry that I play so much that I got this good. Or am I? Shrug.

I think I kind of broke the DDR machine in Austin. Well, it's my fault. I added spacers to the sensors so the arrow doesn't have to be pressed as hard to trigger the sensor, but the right side sensor on the up arrow of the left pad tends to stick for some reason. I think the angle bracket over the sensor occasionally gets into a bind and causes the sensor to stay depressed. I need to try to fix that as soon as I'm back in town. Austin with a bad DDR machine is a bad thing.

I haven't decided yet, but I think my ITG name is going to change from SteamingJava to IKN.KEN? ... hehe, Aleta knows what I'm talking about :)

Anyways, I'm really friggin tired and I can't think, so I'll just add stuff or post again later. Take it easy all!

Peace!
