I painted easter eggs tonight, rah!! they're so pretty. I got messy and everything. ^^
finally, I'm off for 3 days! work this week was bloody irritating. not horrible, not "oh god I can't wait to quit this job" horrible, but slow and lazy and blarfy and just not as fun as it has been. sad part is, next week will probably be worse. but hey, my paycheck was gigantic- it was probably the second biggest check I've ever gotten! best thing is, this means that the next one wil be even bigger. oh yes, give kristen the benjamins...
maria and rachael and I went out to play last night. we ate on alki (cristo's... damn good place) and bowled two games at the good ole west seattle bowl. we taped most of it, too. then we went to thriftway, at 1 in the morning. we parked in the expectant mothers only spot, much to my delight. hey, no one else was there, and if you stick your belly out reeeeeeally far, well, it's not as unconvincing! we gave maria a thriftway makeover. I bought coconut cream pie. we retired to rachael's house to watch the history project she did with devon and maria and rachael ate a coconut. we almost didn't make it home, since rachael was the driver and was also the most exhausted. time home: circa 2:40 am. oh, fun was had by all. hooray!
then today, I got this HEE-larious email from brandon!!
he sent me a link to an mp3. since my modem is slow, it took a while to load, but was it ever worth it... he sent me our song!! the betrayal song!!!
lemme set the scene for you: junior year. I'm at his house. his parents are gone and we're bored. (don't go jumping to exciting conclusions, now.) we were looking at all of the old records his parents had stored in a box in the hallway closet. I found one with a picture of this prince-ish looking guy on it trying to do the elvis lip curl and I simply HAD to know what it was. he put it on, and it was this guy trying to sing in a low voice (which he didn't have), and he belted out the chorus all panty and orgasmically:
"you NEEEEEEEEEEEEE-ver be-TRAAAAAAAAAYed meeeeeee!! oh hun you NEEEEEEEEE-ver ever did.... you never never ever betrayed me... you stayed by my siiiiiide..."
I laughed until I feared I'd piddly diddly. my special dedication to him in the yearbook was to quote the song. but today, he actually found it online, and sent it to me to have forever! it made my day in so many ways.
I bought my mommy a mother's day card, but I want to do something special for her right now. but what...
I hope aaron's not mad that I haven't had time to talk much in the last two days. I promise you, I'll call tomorrow! for real!
kathy told me she doesn't think frankie will be back in time for his graduation. I think it was expected, but yeesh... he must really be dedicated to that trucking job. she said he's been all over the country so far, even up to oregon and new york. they all miss him so much, though.
