a shake, rattle 'n roll...
wow, been a long time since I updated! I just haven't really felt like it. eh. y'know how it is.
let's start off with the coolest thing to happen this week: I got another acceptance letter from lmu, and they're taking me as a transfer student! that means...I get to be a sophomore!!! there was some speculation about whether my credits wold be transferrable or not, cuz sscc sucks and all. but I get to be a sophi, a glorious sophi, and live in the cooler dorms and everything!!! HUH-freekin-ZAH!!!
the other nice thing is that aaron and I are getting along famously. we've been having such delightful conversations and it's like nothing ever happened at all. his brother has been in the hospital twice in 8 days- broke out in some kind of rash, I guess. oh adam. what to do with that boy?
but I'm really happy with aaron right now, and he's really happy with me. this takes a big load off my shoulders.
I never went out with tony on tuesday because he hasn't been e-maling me. I guess he's been busy.
rose got in to the university of wales!! she kicks so much ass. there's nothing I love much more than having people get in to their top choice schools.
god, am I PSYCHED for lmu!!
for online classes are going well. I don't like psychology because we're gonna have to do group projects and the website for the course is really sloppy. so I'm not feelin that one... but health and advanced english 201 are going faboo-ishly.
kate was home this weekend, rah! she's coming back next weekend for easter. I'm excited because I got one of those egg coloring kits. I haven't done that since I was a kid! I remember one year we had a beauty and the beast egg coloring kit... happy times.
today we went over to aunt pen's (and uncle john's) for a bbq. there were the occassional awkward family clashings, and aunt judith brought some kind of weird man with her, but it wasn't that bad. there have been way worse. (example: this last xmas, in which uncle carl got smashed and kate tied his shoe together, and it took him 15 minutes to untie them. other mischief ensued as well, but it's too aggravating to recount at this wee hour.)
kate and I watched harry potter 2. it was scary. well, I thought it was, anyway, but I'm also a wuss and a half, so my opinion doesn't mean as much there. but there were big spiders in it, and the snake got stabbed...!!
OOH!!! THE GORILLAZ ARE GONNA BE IN A MOVIE!!! I'm stoked. I love that band. love love love them.
I'll be done for now, as there's not a whole lot to say. I'm off to go write mail and dream of lmu some more... and hopefully fall asleep sometime soon... (my insomnia's coming back. but tonight I think I'll try the warm milk method, as I've never really given it a go before.)
