Get back in contact with some old tokyo godfathers.
Give up tattoos.
Give some cherry blossoms to charity.
Eat more spaceballs.
Become a better sunshine.
Go sleeping three times a week.
so the program last night was AMAZING. kris and I had such a great time. I got massively sweat-drenched (it gets extra hot when you have someone dancing with you and holding onto you from behind) and nearly passed out from exhaustion. it was THAT good.
got a sweet new blue scholars zip-up hoodie, and plan to buy more merch at the next show I go to... *rubs hands together*... we saw sabzi get out of his nissan sentra while we were waiting in line to get into neumo's and it humbled me tremendously that he wasn't rolling up in a chromed out BMW or some shiz.
can-u was really good, and kris liked them so much that he bought their CD. common market was stellar as usual and, with the exception of g-dang diggy, they did all my favorite tracks, plus some new ones from the upcoming album.
and of course, the scholars rocked the place so hard that we were all sweating and leaning on each other for support by night's end. they did some new stuff too, which was a special treat. geo and sabzi always clown around... they called these three kids up onto the stage and had them do the soulja boy dance. sabzi even gave them a hoe and a super soaker to use as props. ^^;
I got some cool pics and some videos from the balcony of the bar, but I'll have to wait to upload those. I was so glad to have kris there, and he and I had a great time. my boyfriend totally rocks the house because, not only does he try new things with me, but he actually likes them. I told him we need to go to a motorcycle show or some movie he really wants to see or something, but he just smiled and hugged me and told me not to sweat it. awww. <3 (we're so 50-50, him and I.)
I got home at 2 last night.... needless to say, I'm pretty much a zombie at work today.
BUT! my sister is home!! and christmas is almost here! and rachael is back! and my boyfriend is amazing! and there's more of the program to see! and all is very freakin' well with the world.
