my estranged second cousin karl might be coming to seattle soon! his half-brother is at fort lewis and is being sent to (he thinks) iraq, so he and the fam are coming to say goodbye. yeah, sucky circumstances, but we'll get to meet if he comes. hooray!!!
I talked to him on the phone for the first time on saturday. he is SO bitching. I mean, seriously. it's like I'm getting rewarded for dealing with my less-than-nifty family by finally having someone cool to be related to.
karl has friends in a bunch of industries in l.a.... particularly the *film* industry.
now, two exciting things:
his good friend, brad albeson (I think), is an animator/storyboard artist for the simpsons, who HAS ulcerative colitis. just like me!! aspiring animator storyborader whith chronic colon crappies!! and he's going to hook me up with his e-mail so we can chat.
plus, since karl knows people at the simpsons, dreamworks, disney, pixar...he's going to get in touch with his peoples and try to snag an internship for me somewhere!!!!!

can you IMAGINE?!?? ME, working on the simpsons at 20 years of age!!! I could SHIT myself. when I get to l.a., he's going to be my tour guide (*not* louis). he offered himself. he'll pick me up from/take me to the airport, let me crash with him and his actress girlfriend kate, and hang with me and show me around the studios and introduce me to his very powerful friends.....!!!!!!

well, in other very exciting news, rachael got in to mount holyoke! she's very very happy, mainly because keebler boy actually called to congratulate her. ^^ silly rachael.
tomorrow I have to go to the dentist...which SUCKS... but oh well. I'm gonna be a fukkin intern!!!
works has been crazy, too. the cafeteria is closed all week to have the tiling redone, so we're all serving in the dining room, which sucks very badly.
but I can't complain much! hehe!!
sano is going to the vet on thursday...I will be there as his kitty mommy for emotional support we'll both need.
having some trouble on the aaron front, but I don't wanna talk about it right now...
my arm is doing a little better...
I sent my stranger valentines in last night....hehehe...won't they all be so surprised...(uh, except not, since I'd have to mail them all issues for them to be able to see, anyway.)
still haven't seen katie....she's going to see that fukkin awful sleater-kinney again this weekend in vancouver, so she may not even be back then. and I really do think she hates the collage I made her for x-mas.
tomorrow, I must download aol 8.0, just to see what the big fucking hoo-ha is about.
