kristin memorial news
I got a message on facebook from a nice girl named erin at seattle university, informing me of a dedication that the SU choir is planning in kristin's memory, just in time for the one year anniversary.
I'll update sometime soon with an update of my week and photos, but for now, here's info on the service for those interested:
...about the memorial that the SU choir is putting together on campus:
There will be a bench made from one of the trees that fell on campus during the windstorms, a large quarry rock engraved with a poem, and a flowering tree surrounded by small birches. It is on the edge of the green near Pigott and Admin.
There is going to be a dedication of this memorial grove on April 26th at 2:00.
We are planning a program right now for the dedication, and I want to extend the offer if there is anything you would like to share if we have space to include it; a particular poem, etc.
Also, please send the message along to others who may want to attend the dedication, but who I would not have addresses for because they went to high school with Kristin, etc.
Kristin's family will be there, and it will be a really lovely celebration of her life.
please pass this info on to anyone who you think would be interested. I know I'll be there.
