austin is totally my favorite. he really, really is. I miss him already... but hey, only one more week until the move!
last night was really fun. austin, ashley, melvin (ashley's boyfriend) and I all got dressed up nice and fancy and went to downtown LA to go to a dance club. ashley and I spent forever getting me ready, since I had to basically pull an outfit out of my ass. because of bandit's drained battery I had no way of getting to the mall to search for clothes/shoes, so ashley and I struggled for about an hour making fashion magic. we finally found something cute and then ashley did a fantastic job of styling my hair. it was definitely a hairstyle for the ages! while we waited for austin to be freed from the shackles of his stepdad, we grabbed in-n-out burgers and met up with austin at LMU to head to the club.
although, once we finally made it to downtown, we were horrified to find that there was a line for the club that wrapped all the way around the block. there must have been at *least* 300 people, probably way more, waiting to get in. and, once you got in, you had to be frisked-- which was problematic for me on account that I was hiding my glock in my bra. (joking, people. just joking.)
we pulled over and tried to decide what to do. the wait would have been at least a few hours, and it was freezing, so we just decided to do karaoke instead at our special japanese karaoke place in little tokyo. it was a fantastic time... I did my toni braxton impression, ashley and melvin did duets to hermaphroditic japanese pop star gackt's song, austin did "zoot suit riot," somewhere in there were bizarre versions of "lady marmalade," "don't cha" (which ashley made me sing because I hate that song so much, along with some stupid ashanti song that I love to make fun of)... and of course, ashley and I did our lounge lizard version of "winter wonderland," and I sang "killing me softly"... austin and I snuggled and canoodled during ashley and melvin's songs, and even got up to slow dance for awhile together while they sang "my immortal"... we all had so much fun. we were all insanely good looking and well-dressed, and you could tell we were all having a blast. my heart felt light and happy. frequently I would stare into austin's eyes, and he would look back at me, and we would exchange little pecks that turned into longer, more passionate kisses, and I wanted nothing more than to go home with him and sleep next to him and be cuddled...
so, it was definitely a good time for all. :) definitely, definitely a good time for all...
today I'm relaxing, just lounging, cleaning, doing some work, talking to my peoples and catching up, and and watching the cartoons on fox tonight. I think that now I'll try to go get some groceries, permitting that bandit is willing to make the trip.
