*buh-buh nuh nuh nuh nuh* uh huh!!

(brassy kicks ass. buy their album. NOW.)

anyway. y'ever notice how I say "anyway" at the start of at least one paragraph in every entry I make? I guess I'm just silly like that.

LOUIS IS NOT COMING TO SEATTLE!!! I REPEAT, LOUIS IS NOT COMING TO SEATTLE!!!!
he called me like a bazillion times tonight. I avoided answering (I was having a heated conversation with aaron- and not in that way, either) my call waiting, but he caught me at 11 when I was letting my guard down. and he still said things like, "I care about you so much, I've really missed you, I really do miss you a lot, when are you coming back?"...uuuugghh. when will this end. I pray to god he meets another girl, SOON.

but I guess his friends he was coming with kinda had a falling out with him. they both got tired of listening to him whine about me. it's kind of a sucky circumstance under which to cancel a trip, bit believe me, it worked out in everybody's best interests that way, if not in their favor (like it did mine. hooray!).

and rachael can't come to the x-mas party tomorrow night. poo and double merde. I'll never get to do anything with her. except maybe go to the x-mas party she and kristin are having on the 20th. (permitted that they actually *have* it, of course.)

I watched akira again today, for the most part....yippee!!! good movie. I'm getting de-sense-i-tized to its gore. I actually think it's kinda cool now.

aaron and I had a big discussion (or, rather, he shot his mouth off and I didn't stop him much) about feminism, homosexuality, and their relations to psychology. (see? we don't always talk about sex.) but he stopped because he was afraid he was offending me (he was, a little bit) and I wasn't responding to what he said. I kinda figured it best not to interfere, and, most of the time, I just had no comment. but he got all pissy cuz I wasn't even saying if I agreed or not. mr. man, you boys can get defensive too. I'm sorry I can't read your mind.

...no. I'm not *mad* at aaron. and I don't think he's mad at me. he sounded really sad when we got off the phone. I hate it, just hate it when that happens.

mom and I ran some errands tonight. and, oh my gawd, the two funny things to happen to me in a car this week are:
1) the passenger side door on our subaru is broken. the lock locks and can't be unlocked sometimes. so tonight, we parked at target, and I tried to get out, and couldn't. I said to mom, "it's ok, I'll just crawl out over the stick shift and out the driver's side." so I tried to slide over, but I was wearing my puffy coat and, although young, I'm not very agile, so I had a bit of a hard time. some part of me (knee? shoe?) landed on the horn and it went "HOOOOOOOOOT!!!" and I started to laugh my ass off. after about a minute of struggling and fitful laughter slowing me down, I finally squeezed out. mom and I laughed until we thought we would piddly-diddly.
2) when maria and I were driving to dinner earlier this week, I drove up a hill by her house, unawares that there was a traffic island right at the top. when we reached the top of the hill, the island surprised me so much that I didn't get to weave out the way in time, and the left half of the car went bouncing over the concrete and dirt of the island. I totally screamed a girly scream, going "AAAAHHHH-IIEE!!" as maria sat mystified at my driving expertise (not) in the passenenger's seat. then I started to laugh, REALLY, REALLY hard. I was crying and everything. it took me forever to get over it. I still laugh thinking about it. it was great, cuz I really can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.

woo-WHEE! driving brings so many adventures.

I cleaned my entire room tonight...it's a sight to behold. well, granted, it's not spotless, I need to vacuum, and I still have piles of crap...but now they're organized piles of crap.
and I found two more of aaron's socks.
honestly, that boy.

aaron, anime, funny, driving, guys, maria, mom
