AGE: well he appears to be about 16-ish in earth years but considering he is kree and from another dimension it’s a little hard to say :’D.

ROLE: Student // resident stranded inter-dimensional space alien with nowhere else to go
BACKGROUND: Noh-Varr was an ensign in a diplomatic unit of the Kree military that helped put an end to the kree-skrull war in his dimension. After that conflict was resolved, his unit used their dimension-hoping ship to travel through the multi-verse, responding to distress signals and generally helping out whoever needed it. Somewhere along the way they got horribly lost.
After months of searching for their way home, they managed instead to find their way to this Earth, where they were detected in airspace and shot down. Noh-Varr was the only one to survive the crash. Enraged, he blamed all of humanity for the actions of one jerk and declared war on the human race-he expressed this by destroying buildings in midtown Manhattan in the shape of the message “FUCK YOU” (although he did so without a single casuality: his goal was less to wipe out humanity than to reform them to his superior Kree ways). Beyond this one act of extreme vandalism, however, his war didn’t amount to much. He actually ended up saving the Earth from hostile take-over by a sentient super corporation, and shortly thereafter was discovered by SHIELD agents and taken into custody. It was decided that, since he seemed to be a minor and hadn’t actually hurt anyone, an attempt would be made to educate him and assimilate him into human culture and make him a productive member of society (or at least one who wasn’t actively trying to overthrow society) instead of immediately locking him up. Although he wasn’t a mutant, Xavier’s seemed like the most logical place to do this.
Unfortunately, it didn’t really work according to plan, and after months spent at Xavier’s Noh-Varr hadn’t gotten any less hostile. Sensing that the method wasn’t going to work and if anything he would become a potential danger to the other students, SHIELD pulled Noh-Varr back out of the institute and placed him in a high security penitentiary. While he was there he continued to brood and his resentment of humanity continued to fester, until he was visited by the Illuminati-a secret organization consisting of Tony Stark, Albus Dumbledore, Reed Richards, Namor, and Professor Xavier. The illuminati reminded Noh-Varr that if he continued doing what he was doing he would probably spend the rest of his life in prison, informed him of the legacy of the kree soldier Captain Marvel, and firmly suggested an attitude adjustment. He took their words to heart, and after displaying good behavior for a while, was permitted a second chance at the institute. This time around he’s actually pleased to be there.
PERSONALITY: Noh-Varr is quite the different person than he was the last time he was seen at the institute. He’s lost the short temper and the bad attitude and replaced them with a much milder disposition and a genuine desire to understand humanity. He’s calm and pretty serious, although he still does have a bit of a sense of humor that might surface on occasion (just don’t expect him to understand sarcasm. He doesn’t). Overall, he is a much more pleasant person to be around.
However, Noh-Varr is feeling a little lost. He didn’t come to this planet on purpose, and once he was here he decided his purpose was to conquer it. He’s abandoned that plan, but now he finds himself on a planet that is very much foreign to him, with no way of getting home, and no concrete course of action to take while he’s here. Basically, he’s going through a bit of a “why am I here?” phase, in a much more literal sense than most people would. He’s also still totally ignorant of Earth culture. He actually cares to learn it this time around, but it’s probably going to take him a while. In the meantime, he’ll be asking a lot of stupid questions and misinterpreting mostly everything you say or do.
Also, as before, Noh-Varr had a sort of hive-mind link with all of the other members of his regime, as well as a sort of organic computer version of the supreme Kree intelligence known as plex. Since his teammates were all killed and SHIELD he sometimes feels a little lost without them all in his head, and is pretty susceptible to mental attacks. He’s probably a little slow at rote learning and such as well, since he’s used to having any information he could ever possibly want to know instantly downloaded into his head by plex.
APPEARANCE: Noh-Varr is about 5’10” and muscular. He has blue eyes. His hair is white and cut short, although it’s a little shaggier in the front. He has an angular face and a square jaw.
POWERS: Like most Kree, Noh-Varr possess super-human strength and durability. However, he was genetically altered with cockroach DNA, which intensified his abilities as well as providing him some new ones. He has enhanced speed, stamina and reflexes. He also has insect-like abilities such as being able to stick to and climb walls and what he calls a “white run” in which he blocks out any unnecessary stimulus in order to be more efficient and use his energy in the most effective manner.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Noh-Varr eats…really weird shit. Mostly garbage. And things like whole raw eggs, the shell and all :’|.
