Neosho Kicks Butt!!!!
Fri.----wasn't feeling the greatest in the morning but I went to school anyway. Through half of first block I was feeling worse. Went to the nurses office and they freaking sent me home. When I got home, I practically begged my mom if I could go back to school for the Speech & Debate tournament. So I rested for a bit, got up, got ready, and went back to school at 1 something so I could get on the bus. The first round for me was at 3:30. What I did, was a humorous interp.(HI) I was a lil bit nervous, but I think I did ok. 2nd round(@ 5 pm), not as bad, did better than before and found out I advanced to semi finals on Sat. Saturday---woke up at 5:50 !AM!, got ready & was at the school at 6:34. The bus left at 6:45. I performed at 9:30. Which was good, I did good, and found out later on around 11 something that I advanced to finals in the afternoon at 1. When 1 rolled around, I went into the room, and found out that there was a butt load of ppl in there. It was crazy, and made me so nervous, I was shaking. Didn't help that the room was cold to begin with. When I got up to perform, I saw a judge was still writing down info. when the other 2 were done. So I stood up there waiting, the judge's friends were making fun of him saying hurry this girl is waiting, gosh, you're slow, etc etc. I giggled a lil. When he was done, I asked: Are the judges ready? Finally. I told him I was just kidding and I was sorry and that I didn't really mean it. The hott judge in there was like ooo... slam! I cracked up. When I got done with my performance, I was still shaking and went to go with the novice debaters that were waiting out in the cafeteria. When everyone else was done in the room, they came out and all of a sudden I get surrounded by Webb City ppl. They were so nice, and fun to talk to. At the awards ceremony, I got last place in HI but I didn't really care because I was happy to make it that far my first time doing that. IT was awesome!!! Both trips up there and back were really cool and loads of fun! (good times good times lol) Anyways....... Neosho got 1st place in both Novice at Lamar and Varsity at Carl Junction. Everyone did such an awesome job! And Im proud of all of them. It was a job well done. Yep,well thats pretty much it. OH wait! Today was my brother Jeremy Edsell's 18th birthday. Ok now thats it.
