I sped alone through the gray November sun-chill, across 64, down 95, and 85, stopping only once. I made it home in one piece, though I was to be torn to shreds upon crossing the threshold. I stayed around my house for a few hours, visiting with relatives and my parents, then around 10:30 I went to meet up with my friends. Knowing that my parents don't like any of them, and that they didn't want me out late, I asked if I could bring them back over to our house. They said until 12, then as we were on our way back to my place my dad called to say that my friends are not welcome in our house and that if I stay at home I can't see any of them. Not even Tim, who's been my best friend since sixth grade. They are no longer funding my education, so basically I'm going to become a college drop out, except I'm in good standing with the college. My friends have been supportive, but honestly, what do you say to someone when they've had everything taken away? I used to shave in the shower, but it's too scary these days.
