This is the reason I stay out of people's business, this is the reason I keep my mouth shut, this, THIS is the reason I hate people: Gossip.
First of all, I try to keep people vaguely anonymous on my journal. Second, what I say about people isn't incriminating. Third, I tell them when they're in my journal.
So "Subject A" shared info with "Subject B" then her friend "Subject C" somehow found out by accidental means. "Subject C" works with a girl (subject D) who is roommates with "Subject E". "Subject E" is/was dating "Subject B" previously/during his encounter with "Subject A". Witnesses: Subjects F, G, H, I.
SO.. B calls A complaining that he heard from D that C leaked info from somewhere. He thinks A is the leaker. A realizes this later. Before A realizes this, she suggests witnesses F and G (who were present). G has literally no means to spread info, so that leaves F. B calls F and claims he leaked to C or D. All are concerned that E will find out. F is upset that B involved him. F calls A to clear his name and find out what is going on. A realizes there may have been a connection between her and C which leaked to D and back to B. A called C to kick his ass, but he didn't answer his phone.
Like omigod, totally, did you hear? FUCK THAT! Grow up.
