Yesterday all afternoon I heard the news on the radio...my heart sort of dropped...

Seriously for like three years of my life (during junior high) I was weird but I pretty much ONLY watched animal planet I was obsessed with that channel I became obsessed with the crocodile hunter from the very day they aired the first episode...So...this is big for me I like grew up with him this is so sad....

The news story says he was impaled by a sting ray while filming an under sea thing. Supposedly his wife and kids havent even heard the bad news yet his wife is out in the mountains somewhere doing something else....his kids too he has little kids its awful :-( I watched some show a while ago and he said that 15 years ago he was playing with the crocs in front of the entire audience and there she was, the love of his love...standing there in the crowd and he said he must have stopped breathing for like a min! And he was head of heels in love with her! OMG that is sooooo sweet! He even said that he had the most amazing job and he thanks god everyday for this blessing and he would never trade it for the world. Though he admitted that is his wife ever asked him to stay at home look after kids, then....he would do it for her....he would do anything for her! My eyes were all teary. He was so sweet! They were such a perfect couple.

Anyways, I suppose I shouldnt be shocked....I mean he danced with death....but how often do you hear of these people actually dying..maybe becuase most of those shows are all staged and the animals are placed ahead of time and just filmed.
so all in all I guess I just have one thing to say

I was wrong

I always thought that If this was ever to happen it would have been at the hands of one of those crocs he loved so much hmm...I guess if anything he proved us wrong there....

So anyhow Rest in peace Steve.

"Crikey!"

What a shame...
