1 Peter 1:8,9
"Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
Even though we haven 't ever seen Him, we believe in Him and are completely satisfied....that's mind-boggling. Peter says we are receving the "goal of [our] faith, the salvation of [our] souls." Is Christ really the goal of our faith? Is He the satisfaction of our soulds? What is my goal in life? Is it to glorify God? It should be. Just like I was telling Mrs. Pam yesturday...we fill our lives with so much stuff that we think will satisfy us, when Christ is the only One who could ever bring us true satifaction and fulfillment. Who/What will my satisfaction and fulfillment come from today?
