Midget Clown Invaders O_o

Today I heard the funniest thing I've heard in my whole life. I know I've said that before, but this time I really mean it. Now, this is a true story. It really happened a few days ago. In Lexington!

Well, this UK student was babysitting some children, around 6 and 7 years old I think, and after putting them to bed, she decided to go watch some television in the basement. She sat down to watch a movie and noticed a 3 or 4 foot clown statue right beside the TV. It was kind of distracting her, but she tried to ignore it. Well, she couldn't ignore it for long. She said she felt like it was staring right at her. Wanting to be polite, she called the childrens' mother and asked if she could move the statue. Upon hearing this, she said, "Sure, honey, move anything you want! Wait, what did you say it was again?"
"A 3 or 4 foot clown statue beside the TV in the basement." The babysitter explained.
"We don't have any statues like that!" said the mother. "Get the children out of the house right now and call the cops!"
The police came and found a midget dressed as a clown, who had apparently been there for 10 days eating their food and hiding in closets and things. The children had been telling their parents about a clown who had been jumping on their bed at night and waking them up, but of course, their parents didn't believe the children. I guess they will from now on.
Creepy or what?
It kind of makes me paranoid. :P I knew clowns were evil.

Edit: I'm beginning to think this is most likely just a twisted urban legend. Although it is very strange that one night no one knows anything about it, and then the next day, it's the talk of the school... *ponder, ponder* O.o
