End of Summer BBQ III (The Cookening)
(You can probably ignore this if I have never actually met you)
Greetings. It's that time of the year again, where Tara organizes the End of the Summer BBQ, and forces all of you to consume delicious grilled food and enjoy one last hurrah before we're all schooly again. For those of you who are new, or just haven't been paying attention, this is the extravaganza at Stage Fort Park. There's a beach, jungle gym, baseball diamond, icecream store, some cool cannons overlooking the ocean, rocks to climb, trees to lie under, and nature to photograph.
This'll be the third year of cookout-y goodness, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions of ways to make it even amazinger. Or ways I could make it sucks less.
And I know, I know, it's not until August, but this is just the What Day to BBQ? post. I'm doing it early mostly to give enough time for those out-of-staters *cough*Noah*cough* to plan a trip up. And don't worry, once I figure out the date, I'll do the What Should I Be Bringing? post. Once the date is set I'll send out invites via facebook/myspace/here/evite/telling you to your face, so you'll have a lovely little reminder on your website of choice.
So, everyone who would like to come to the shindig should reply to this, and if applicable, let me know which Sundays you are NOT free and I'll pick the date with the least schedule conflicts.
