My birthday was pretty special from beginning to end. Thank you for the special messages from ireth06 nverland silvan_lady kittyrefuge blueskydancers ranmaru jackieville here on LJ and several more over at FB. I had dinner at Red Lobster with my two favorite boys (hubbie and son) and stuffed myself with shrimp and then on to the movies to see Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and eat movie candy and lounge in the new recliner seats. I'll be watching my diet the rest of the week but it was so worth it.
I received some wonderful presents - garden books, DVD series, manga and a couple of self gifts. I bought some bath gel at Bath & Body Works and a new pair of white pants for the next occasion that I need them. Hubbie did some special things like adding a light strip to the top of my laptop for those early morning reads in the dark and he's fixing a straw carryall that I like so much so I can use it again. He's a sweet man. The little things are important.
