We got drenched again tonight, in a repeat of Saturday.

91mm (~3.5 inches) at Hornsby in a couple of hours. 71mm (2.8 inches) of that in just over an hour.

Apparently people had to be rescued from flooded cars and places sandbagged around the Hornsby and Beecroft areas. Our nextdoor neighbours were still drying out after their ground floor was flooded on Saturday. He was up on the roof in the downpour.

eta: Hornsby was 2nd highest rainfall in Sydney region, Long Reef had 93mm. According to the paper, someone had to be rescued from a car due to flash flooding in our suburb and Galston.
