It looks beautiful. And 3 Aussies! Cate and Geoffrey of course, and Abbie Cornish who's playing Elizabeth Throckmorton, Walter Raleigh's wife.

Can't find a release date for down here though :(

So wacky, it's like a sequel but not really. This was totally not on my radar.

The film looks good, but the fact that Cate's Elizabeth is riding astride bugs the hell out of me. Never ever ever would a lady have done that in those times, let alone the queen. Serious historical glitch. Plus we all know that Cate was chosen for the film The Missing in part because of her good horsemanship, so there's no reason why she couldn't have learned to ride side saddle. It's super-easy if you're even a semi-competent rider.
