I know a number on my flist love it, but just watched the pilot. Annoyed and bored me immensely.
Surprisingly David didn't annoy me that much (I've never been impressed with him as an actor, only ever liked him as Angelus). The turning and shooting thing at the firing range was stupid. And they were really hitting you over the head with the ust.
Overall I spent most of the episode rolling my eyes, wanting to hit her every time she said "I don't know what you mean" (she was like Ziva off NCIS, except without the excuse of English being her second language--and has she been living under a rock her entire life?), and wanting to hit everyone else every time the whole "squints" (whoever came up with that term needs to go back to the drawing board) versus police thing came up.
I used to complain about the novel Tempe going off and getting herself into stupid situations, but the tv Tempe is worse.
And the hologram thing was just so far out there to be ridiculous (although that woman was the only character I found remotely appealing). And the science wasn't that great.
