OMG.
So it's been about another three months since I updated again. I said I would update more but I seem to have less and less time to or I just keep forgetting. So, what have I been up to? Working per-usual, sitting around watching the Brewers, hanging out with Adam and his sister and her bf and son. And just relaxing at home and trying to catch up on sleep.
Two weeks ago was our three year anniversary. He took the day off of work so we could spend the day together and such. We went grocery shopping (Romantic I know.) And spent some quality time at home till we went out to eat and see a movie. So before we went to dinner we decided to exchange gifts because I couldn't wait anymore and I REALLY wanted to give him his presents haha. I got him some sour skittles a little gas grill and grill accessories as well as two tickets to the Brewers game a week later because he suggested going on our anniversary but the Brewers were out of town :/ He seemed to really like it too, I think he just wishes he could grill on our patio haha.
Then he gave me my present. He wrapped it in a clothes box, then in duct tape, I opened that and there was one of his shirts in it and another box and xmas wrapping paper lol. Then that box was wrapped and then in duct tape and then wrapping paper shoved in that with another box that was ducted tape and then a little box inside that one. And he was like 'What's that?!' I opened it and there was a ring in it and I was like 'I dunno, WHAT is it?! And he was like 'What do you think it is? And I was like 'Aren't you supposed to like get on a knee and say pretty things and ask me something?!' Haha he couldn't even look at me and he was talking in this little boy cute voice. He didn't even get on his knee on the kinda, kinda of but not completely haha.
And I asked what was up with the duct take and he said he wanted me to remember it haha. Definitely won't forget that!! Definitely found my dork lol. I'm hoping to get married sometime next July. I think I have a place I already want it at but I have to call em' up and such and figure out when I can get vacation since my picking for vacation isn't till October. And now that I've told more people I'm more excited. I was hoping for a cute, romantic, Monica and Chandler proposal but this I won't forget haha. It was too cute and dorky. :D
We then went to Olive Garden because that is where our first date was. We had a real nice waiter too so that was nice. Then we went to see Ironman which made me LOVE Robert Downy Jr. hahaha. I find him cute. It was a nice day/night and such. And I've been more excited now about the engagement now that I've finally told some people hehe. And it was real nice going to the Brewer game a week later to continue the celebration with just Adam and I. Must get to more games.
So this past weekend I went home to go to another game with my brother Justin and Adam and I. So I decided to tell the folks. DUH. My mum already kind of knew because Adam asked her about it a month or so ago when I was asleep. My dad grabbed a magnify glass to see it and said he looked like a cubix-zirconium or however that is spelt! He was being a dork haha and my mum said it looks nicer than hers haha. My neighbor Mike congratulated me and said 'Adam, you fuckin' dumbass.' Hahaha, joking of course as well. My brother was probably the most shocked. He came over to the house to come pick Adam and I up for the game and my mum was like "How come you didn't tell me your sister was engaged!?" Justin had the funniest, most shocked look on his face, because I didn't tell him yet! And I was like "Mom, I DIDN'T tell him." Haha, he was like "For real? Serious?!" I had to wave my hand in his face haha. I mean, I even told him like a week before that I might get a ring for my anniversary but he said "You were drunk!" I wasn't but oh well, he was happy because he told some people as well hehe.
Went to the Brewer game and grilled. MUCH nicer out then it was on Tuesday and the burgers and brats were DE-LICIOUS. Adam was feeling pretty good before we got inside for the game haha. And the game was awesome because they won. Three homers, two back-to-back by Cameron and Braun. Then Fielder later. SWEET game. Not soo bad getting home either. Afterwards we went down to Sparky's then Layton Place to meet one of Justin's friends who greeted me by hugging me and saying congratulations. And I never met her before so I was like 'Ahhh who are you?!' She's hella cool though, and went to Denny's afterwards for some breakfast which was a bad idea because it took forever to get out food, our salads camer AFTER we were pretty much done with out meal and we were sharing silverware even after asking about a million times for extra. Oh, and then they wouldn't give us our bill. So all and all that was fun. Still fun times, though. And a long night which I haven't done in a while.
I also told my grandma and went to visit her Saturday, he reply was "When is Justin getting married." Kind of needs a gf first lol. Then went to hang out with Adam's mom and step-dad. Went to Cabella's and then dinner then Adam finally told him. Then we rushed back home to meet my bro to go to the bars with him and Neal. Didn't get home early enough because Adam's mom and step-dad like to drag conversations...... so we didn't get to head over to Sparky's but went back to Layton place for some darts and drinks. Was feeling pretty good that night haha.
Watched the Brewer game Sunday and played with my parents kitty. Then went to the driving range with Adam and Justin and I didn't suck too badly. I hit the ball better then the last time I went about a year ago haha. Headed back to the house for dinner and calling my cousins to tell them the news. One thought something bad happened and the other screamed in my ear on the phone haha. They were happy haha. Afterwards we headed back to Madison and I've been here since. So it was a great week and actually a busy one too. That never happens. Now that the weather is nicer I hope to get out more and such. But I also need to work more now that I'm gonna need to get some money to pay for this wedding which is hopefully next July sometime.
But that is about it. I wrote too much once again but that happens when you don't update in three months haha. Well I must got now, my bum is numb from sitting here so much. So until next time folks....
