update
so friday night was nikkees bday party thing. it was ok. not what i had expected, but it was fun. i bought nikkee a pair of pants from hot topic and she said she liked them and that they fit. :) im glad.

then before we went to the del mar fair yesterday nikkee and i went and got some piercing done. i got the cartilage in my right ear pierced. it hurt, a lot, but not as bad as i thought it would. and it freaked me out cuz they dont use a gun, they just use a needle. so the guy had like a pair of forcips and he put it on my ear. that hurt. it squeezed my ear and stuff. then he was like, ready? and i feel the needle go through. you could hear the crunch of the cartilage too. i thought maybe it was just me, but dustin said he heard it too, haha. he help my hand the whole time. it didnt bleed at all and im happy with it. it'll take about 5-6 weeks to heal. the cartilage will heal in a year though. UGH. and in 6 months i can take it out and put a new earring in if i want. dustin said i should get a red one for marching season. i told that to christine (my section leader, who has the same piercing) and she thought it was an awesome idea. so i wont be able to do it this season, but i can next season. nikkee got her upper lip pierced in a marilyn monroe way. it looks cute, but it bled a little and that just freaked me out. eww, blood.
then we went to the del mar fair and had fun. i won dustin this HUGE stuffed fish, and we went on some rides and stuff. it was so fun, cuz it was like we were just there as friends. i mean, we walked around and held hands and all that, but when we went on the rides it was just laughing and screaming and i liked it. i want it to be like that at disneyland. :)

im getting my nails done today at 2. im kinda scared, cuz the only time ive gotten my nails done it was by (to be blunt) white people. now im going someplace where they are korean and it isnt that im racist, its that i heard they do nails differently and that it sometimes hurts. they drill and stuff. so im all scared. but after getting my ear pierced, i dont think it will be THAT bad.
then tomorrow is out dinner cruise for our 1 year, which is on the 4th of july. :D i cant believe its been 1 year already. yikes. i cant wait for tomorrow! and on the 4th we're gonna probably go down to the beach and see the fireworks, just like we did last year, when he first called me his girlfriend. we were kinda together before that, so our 1 year has basically passed already. but that was the first time he said, no it does matter. CUZ YOURE MY GIRLFRIEND. :) it seems like it was only yesterday.
