The subject pretty much sums up my day, without the bludging bit. I have had a very interesting day. I spoke and mass this morning and then got to witness the charity of the community as they gave to our Christmas Box appeal. It is basically a thing where we fill up a shoebox with small gifts for a kid overseas, and they get given it for christmas. The community gave very well, and i predict they will continue to do this.
After a few hours of bludging at home, i rode my bike (shock horror) down to the Campion Centre for a rehearsal for the Cathedral Mass. I really used the full range of my voice at the rehearsal, singing some Tenor parts (that are quite high) and some real low Bass stuff. The Cathedral Mass should be really good, and anyone who likes fun should go to the St Mary's Cathedral at about 2:30ish on the 26th of September.
Then i had Antioch (after some more bludging). This was really interesting, we started off talking about the latest spate of terrorist attacks, and how we should react etc. we ended up being inspired to change the world. It was a very natural progression. The question everyone has to ask is can we fix the problems in the world, can we make a difference?
Then I watched Idol. I won't do the same rundown as last week at the moment (as it is getting late and i am getting tired), but i really enjoyed tonights show. I don't think that anyone performed and sang really badly, though Dan O'Connor cannot sing to save himself, though he performs well. He would be good to watch on mute :P. I am really liking Courtney, Casey, Daniel Belle and Chanel. I am feeling that tomorrow's elimination will be a bit of a shocker, one that no one saw coming... but that really won't matter in the long run.
