SOMETHING GLORIOUS IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN:
Wow, what a kickass week!!! I love it so much when I pull myself out of the ruts of depression that I create for myself. Today the sun was out and the temperature was in the 50-60s and it was amazing, and tomorrow its supposed to get up to 76! People were on the quad on unicycles and stuff, it was just awesome. After classes Jeremy and I went to Wegmans to get stuff to make salad and garlic bread and showed up at Julia's house for our group dinner. It was awesome-fun! It actually got me really excited for field training this summer. I really think that I'm ready and will be able to do well enough to come home with distiguished graduate. So we drove back, I dropped people off and decided not to drop my car off yet. Instead I went for a bit of a drive. Now knowing how much I love my car, I'm surprised it doesnt make appearances in here more often... maybe thats because I promised myself that I wouldn't brag about my baby when I bought her. But honestly, since I bought my new K&N air filter and changed the oil, holy crap I can feel the difference. And hear it too! I launched it pretty hard getting on the highway and let me tell you, the extra sucking whrrrrrr coming from the intake made me a very happy panda. I took full advantage of the nice weather and had my windows down and listened to some Imogene Heap. I felt like I was driving faster than I really was, so I didn't even feel the need to speed. I was going only 70 in a 65 and it felt like 100. It was amazing. I got off at 2 extra exits, just so that I could get back on the highway and floor it again. It just made me so happy! I've been in such a good mood all week and I love it. Eventhough I didn't get to go to DC last weekend, I get to go out to Buffalo with P/R and hopefully get inducted this weekend. In any event, this weekend's gunna be superduper! I can't wait.
