MoM emergency

Dec 18, 2004 20:06

Thought the Pub sing did pass, donations are still being accepted.

Well now…we've always known the Minstrels of Mayhem were hot, but we recently found
out that sometimes things get a little too hot to handle. A little birdie…okay,
he's not little and he looks more like a lion than a birdie… Hmmmm? Ah, please
forgive us…we digress. ANYWAY…the news was that the Billings family had a major
fire in their camper and it laid waste to the majority of their worldly possessions
and we'd like to do something about it, sooooooo…That story being told, this is our
official "Build a Billings Christmas" announcement!

We'd be most appreciative if all those MoMheads out there came out to help and
support our efforts at reminding Ty and family that they're well loved here in South
Florida and we're willing to do whatever we can to help.

Just FYI: Cash will be happily accepted but we started this project because we're of
the opinion that no matter what befalls a parent, no child should miss Christmas.
With that in mind, we've gathered this information as well, for those of you that
would rather provide gifts for the Billings' children.

Joshua is 8 years old and loves GameBoy SP and Pokemon.

Kia is 14 and loves Hot Topic and music…imagine that!

**Gift cards are a good thing, since we don't know sizes and such!**

We've planned the following Pub-sing for Friday December 17th, 2004.

This is a garbed event Place:Rose & Crown Time:7:00pm Cover:$5.00 Buffet:Starting
7:30pm Performances by The Privy-Tiers and more!

NOTE:ALL proceeds including the entire funds collected from the cover charge will be
sent directly to Ty and family the following day, so that they arrive prior to
Christmas.

Please do NOT wrap gifts…that way Ty and Ta-rel can sort them. Anyone that will not
be able to make it but would still like to donate, please contact Tree at (954)
802-0583, Rhonda Bucki at (954) 821-5640 or John Carlson at (954) 581-8050
