Tiff, I know I said I would update last week... but its been one hell of a 3wks!
So Im updating now...
Wayne got in to Tampa on the 8th. I didn't know he was coming in until the day before... he called me at 11 at night to tell me to pick him up at the airport the next day at 11am. I got 12 hrs notice!
Well, because of the USO and customs, he missed his connecting flight, so he ended up not getting in until 2, so I was stuck waiting at the airport until then. Luckily, there is a TGI Friday's in the airport and they make really good mudslides!
Trey's birthday was awesome. I couldn't have hoped for better. Not everyone showed up that RSVP'd, but hey, what can you expect? He got lots of presents and ate lots of cupcakes. If you havent seen those pics lemme know and I will send them out. Trey also got his first haircut on his birthday. I cried when we got home... he didnt look like a baby anymore. Now hes all big boy looking :(
Trey took off walking like a pro as soon as daddy came home. Now hes all over the place. Daddy also got to experience teething (ick!) with regular teeth AND his bottom molars! Trey now has 10 teeth and is cutting in his top molars as we speak, so soon to be 12 teeth!
Trey was sick when Daddy came home :( he had a mini flu. All of us got it too. It sucked, but it was only like a 24 hour thing and we were all (by all Im including stella, her fam, my complete fam and my niece and nephews too!) better... except me! Mine started out just a stomach thing for 24hrs like everyone elses, then I got a cough. It didnt go away, just faded. Turns out, it was broncitis... and it was so bad, it spread to pneumonia (sp?). That was last friday that I was diagnosed and was put on bed rest (didnt listen to that part though). They gave me cough meds with codiene in it and an antibiotic. :-P Its not really helping, and the antibiotic must have been expired because now I have a sinus infection. I go back this friday for another chest xray and will probably get something for my sinuses then. Stupid sicknesses!
Wayne's birthday was really good. We had his party and his sisters baby shower the same day at the same place... his daddy's trailer ;) It was really good though, all the men were outside cooking and bullshitting while the chickies were inside baby showering. Chrissie got lotsa cute stuff and loved the bassinet we got her. Wayne ended up getting lots of presents and about $500. Which we were gonna use that money to go to hard rock, but I was too sick and there really wasnt enough time *his bday was the 21st*. So we went to the LaQuinta inn & suites near my house and had fun just the same.
We also did our anniversary dinner early. Wayne got me 2 fake yellow roses, one leather and one crystal -- the 3rd anniversary is leather and crystal ;) he also got me a dozen yellow roses... how romantical! We went to outback for dinner, then the country dance club/bar afterwards. We had fun just making fun of people and drinking lol neither of us were too sloshed that we wanted to attempt line dancing LOL plus, that was the same day I started my codiene... so I really wasnt up for much.
Sunday night was wayne's last night here... so we all went out to dinner at Carrabba's.
Yesterday, after taking him to the airport and crying the entire way home because Trey was yelling DADA BYEBYE and making me cry.... I took trey home for a nap, then went and got his birthday pics taken. They came out really good.
