...and some kind of karate pose...
He'll pass you in the aisle saying "Welcome to Safeway, thank you for shopping." and pass you again, in the same isle and say it again... then see you near the check out and say it again, then at the door. =)
Has this guy ever said anything to you besides that? For years my current roomie and I thought that's all he ever said until we went on the max one day and saw him dressed to the "nines", with a handful of friends talking up a storm about politics, and other intellectually stimulating topics, etc. We almost couldn't contain our selves.
Mainly, because I've heard people on several different occasions leaving Safeway, talking about the "Welcome to Safeway guy."
