it's back!
wow it's been a loooooong time since i've been on here. i suppose i was inspired because summer is back and i'll have a ton of fun stories to share...well, hopefully anyway. school is over and i'm finished with ALL of my classes, all i have left to do is an internship. i'll keep you posted on the internships...so far nothing too exciting has come up. i'll tell you what i've told everyone else: i had two phone interviews with the Fiesta Bowl based in Tempe, AZ and i was one of seven candidates to interview at ford field for the 2006 super bowl host committee. i didn't get either position, but they were the only two places i sent my resume, so i can't be doing that bad if i only sent out two resumes and got an interview for both, right? we'll see...as i'll be sending out another round of resumes later this week.
still working at bennigan's. i have many, many more hours these days, as i'm moving to the top of the food chain. we had about 12 people quit this summer due to graduation or just leaving for the summer. mostly due to graduation. that puts me near the top of the chain since i've been there for a year and a half. i'm finally getting some good shifts, closing on friday and saturday nights. yay for me!
nothing too exciting has happened yet this summer. we were supposed to have our "rockstar reunion" party...but that got cancelled. hmmm...maybe some other weekend, but chances are it won't happen. hopefully the weather will get nice soon so we can catch a few--hundred--games of volleyball...much like last summer! oh and we can sit around by the pool, catch some rays, and enjoy our "beverages". that would be nice...WARM WEATHER PLEASE COME SOON!
anywho...it's about 1130 and i think i'm gonna head to bed. don't really have to be up for anything, more or less just nothing left to do for the day. i rented some movies so i'll prolley watch one or two and fall asleep. only to get up to work out tomorrow before i have to go into work at 5. but tomorrow night will be fun times cuz i'm going out with some peeps from work for kyle's and bryan's birthday. prolley hit up the wayside...but who knows?
anyway...that's all for now.
