So school was actually FUN today. Yes, you read right, FUN.
That would be mainly because MAN U BEAT ARSENAL 4 - 2!!!!!
Added to the fact that Ronnie (my beloved) scored 2 goals! Added to the fact that my best friend is a staunch Arsenal supporter and didn't talk to me for about an hour in the morning!
To all you HP people on my flist: This is basically the equivalent of Gryffindor beating Slytherin 3 TIMES in one season, and the last match is the deciding factor on which teams are still in the race for the Quidditch Cup.
So I'm happy right? Wrong. I'm bloody ECSTATIC.
The footie part of my flist EXPLODED. Heh. I'm having so much fun.
It's funny how with the big matches everyone seems to have an opinion, regardless of whether they're into football or not. Don't get me wrong, opinions are good and all that, I just hate it when people who have NO CLUE what they're talking about act as if they know everything.
Get that a lot with international games, and I noticed even more with Euro 2004. When England lost to Portugal on penalties, everyone blamed David Beckham for missing or the ref for disallowing Campbell's goal. No-one even mentioned the fact that we were defending WAY too deep anyway, and so we were lucky to get to the penalty stage.
But I digress.
Point of post: MAN U ROCK MY SOX.
