This is so not good:

Smithy in Ron ruck

By NEIL CUSTIS

ALAN SMITH and Cristiano Ronaldo have had a furious four-letter ruck.

Manchester United striker Smithy laid into team-mate Ronaldo with the dressing-room blast after Monday’s 1-1 draw at Fulham.

I heard that Neville was involved aswell. I heard that basically they told him, stop fucking around, and showing off and do what you're supposed to. Which I think needed to be said, its all good seeing him run circles and other assorted shapes around the opposition but its when he does it for too long we lose possession when we could easily have scored - he's doing it far too much and hopefully he'll learn from this.

Oh, I completely agree with you, it neede to be said, but I think it's Fergie's job to say it, not Gary and Alan's. That will just create animosity in the team and we really can't afford that. >.

I agree the manager should have had a word with him - but he just sent him back home for 2 weeks. I dunno, he's had a really busy year and I think he still wants to please but having played soso much this year, he's not his usual perky self.

I can see why they shouted at him - they play with him, Fergie doesn't. They're the ones who have to pick up the pieces after he's lost the ball, so I can perfectly understand why they did it.

Yeah, it's definitely understandable--it's probably very frustrating for them, but maybe they need to remind themselves that Ronnie's still a developing kid, and like you said he's had a very busy year so naturally he'll be tired.

Yeah, he's still learning - but isn't it best to teach while him he's still influentiable instead of when its to late?

Good point, but how much is he gonna learn when they're shouting at him in a language he doesn't understand? ;)

Lol.... I'm sure the papers blew it out of proportion anyway. I think a few stern words his way was all there was to it.
