And it begins. . . .

Finally.

FINALLY.

I used to think writing your thoughts online and sharing it to everyone else was kinda stupid. But after experiencing so many wild, foolish, frustrating, ridiculous, and absurd moments all throughout college (sometimes all in one instance), I figured my stories are too rich to just keep it to myself. Besides, an LJ would save me the trouble of retelling the stories 55 times to my friends.  So I thought I will start an LJ.

This I decided 2 years ago and nothing happened. Wala. Tamad e. At gusto ko kasi maganda ang design ng LJ ko kahit papaano, at wala akong ideya kung paano gawin yun. So. No bad-ass design, no LJ. People would just have to come to me so they can laugh at me and at my stories.

But after having the wildest, most foolish, most frustrating, most ridiculous, most absurd, and yet the greatest week of my life . . .  Ahh. My own LJ is definitely bursting to be born A. S. A. P.

And here it is.

I was just waiting for a sucker to create and design my account for me. And I found just the one. Haha, joke lang Ces!

Anyway, seriously, Ces (whom I also affectionately refer to as Lienne) created and designed my LJ yesterday. (She's my oldest friend from ADMU BS BIO 'O7.) I told her to do it for me as a grad gift or something. Well, I don't know if she agreed to that but since she has nothing to do at home, she worked on it all day. Sweet, ain't she? And she would not stop until the whole thing met her standards. (Baka isipin nyo ang kapal ko, pero guys - may malupet akong grad gift para dyan. And I promise you, Ces, it will completely blow you away. Just keep your promise, and you'll be sure to get it.Ü)

So, like any other LJ, mine would probably have the usual boring accounts of my daily life, with blatant rantings and hissy fits here and there. My entries can be accompanied with pics, if ever I felt like being a camwhore for the day. Sometimes, I would be sentimental, sometimes I would be all geeky, philosophical, or whatever. Naturally, med school (horror) stories will flood my LJ once I start at UERM this June.

But what would make my LJ different? Just two reasons.

Well, nothing THAT special, guys. Sorry.Ü Baka na-excite kayo e. But first, I will start by recounting my last week at the Ateneo. It was pure crazy/delicious. I doubt that in my life, I would ever go through another one just like it. And I invite you all to read it and just enjoy my stories. I promise, no one can even come close to the week I had (in terms of it being a graduation week). Also, I challenge anyone to beat the graduation celebration I had. Haha, I think even those who heard of the whole fiasco (or was actually there!) could attest to this. (Anyway, if anyone has a more ridiculous story than mine, please tell me!! Coz yours would have to be so out-of-this-world to beat mine, and I wanna hear it! Haha.)

Second, my LJ will have a LOT of entries that focuses on my favorite topic in the world - FOOD. Yes. Fooooood. Whether it be homecooked meals, random street food, or extravagant restaurants dinners, I will give full details here. Food is an insatiable passion of mine. I crave and devour practically all types of food, from different countries and cultures. Besides, I'm the proud daughter of a woman with a catering service. I also happen to have an appetite that could rival any growing boy. As such, food is a prominent factor in my life, and it should be rightly and sufficiently documented in my LJ. And I don't care if you find it silly and stupid. Don't read it then. But I know of one person who said she'd love to read all about my food trips, and that's enough for me. Haha. Though, I'm hoping others will appreciate them too.

Anyway! Enough about my LJ! That's enough intro. I gotta end this now with a big thank-you to Ces. Sis, I don't know anything about LJs but as I already told you, I think you did a fantastic job. I LOVE it. Techie ka talaga ng Package Deal. And though I was deeply embarassed to let you do this for me, I still feel really blessed that you agreed to it. It just made my LJ extra extra special. I mean, c'mon, how many other people out there can say that their LJ was both created and designed by a dear friend?  Designed, yes, but created? And as a gift, no less. I am just so happy. Thank you so much, Lienne. As I've said a million times before, I don't know how you put up with me. But man, I pray HARD you will never get tired of me. Well,  at least for the next 4 years in UE, my dear. But I assure you, I will never tire of you. I knew it from the first moment I refered to you as my sister. Love you, sis.

Here's to my LJ. And here's to my crazy delicious life. Let's get it on.

food, promise, lienne, ateneo, lj
